I’m Jess — the photographer and storyteller behind the camera. I started Femme Noir because I know what it feels like to always be behind the scenes, doing everything for everyone else, and forgetting what it’s like to do something just for you. Eventually, I realized most of us do that — we keep waiting for the “right time” to put ourselves first.
Femme Noir is for the women who are done waiting. This experience is about slowing down, taking up space, and celebrating the woman you’ve become. No pressure, no pretending — just real, honest moments that remind you how powerful, beautiful, and completely yourself you already are.
My goal is simple: when you see your portraits, I want you to think, that’s me — and she’s incredible.
